These terms apply to purchases, account orders, website orders, and requests submitted through the Lord & Sons website.
Lord & Sons sells construction supplies, fasteners, supports, and related products to contractors, commercial customers, and other qualified purchasers. By placing an order through this website, by phone, by email, or through a Lord & Sons representative, you agree to these terms unless separate written terms have been approved by Lord & Sons.
Customers who have completed a credit application and have been approved for an account with Lord & Sons may be eligible for negotiated credit terms. Those approved account terms control account purchases, payment timing, billing requirements, purchase order requirements, and any other negotiated account conditions.
Account privileges may be reviewed, limited, suspended, or revoked at the discretion of Lord & Sons, including for overdue balances, account changes, credit concerns, or other business reasons.
Customers without approved account terms must pay by credit card at the time of purchase. Credit card payments are processed through a third-party payment processor. Lord & Sons does not intentionally store credit card security codes after payment processing.
Orders paid by credit card may be authorized before the order is finalized and captured after the order has been accepted for processing.
Product pricing, availability, descriptions, images, packaging quantities, and specifications may change without notice. Lord & Sons makes reasonable efforts to keep website information current, but website listings may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
Lord & Sons reserves the right to correct pricing or product errors, reject or cancel orders, limit quantities, substitute equivalent products when appropriate, or contact the customer before processing an order.
Submission of an order does not guarantee acceptance. Orders are subject to review, payment approval, product availability, account status, shipping requirements, and any applicable minimum order or purchase order requirements.
If an order cannot be processed as submitted, Lord & Sons may contact the customer for clarification, correction, substitution, or approval before continuing.
Shipping and freight charges may vary based on destination, weight, package size, carrier, delivery method, product type, and jobsite requirements. Freight shown during checkout may be an estimate and may be adjusted if the shipment requires special handling, oversized freight, carrier correction, or customer-requested changes.
Will-call orders must be picked up from the selected Lord & Sons location. Customers are responsible for confirming pickup readiness before arriving.
Applicable sales tax may be charged based on customer account status, tax exemption status, shipping destination, will-call location, and applicable law. Customers claiming tax exemption must provide valid documentation before an exemption can be applied.
Returns and cancellations are subject to review and approval by Lord & Sons. Special order, custom fabricated, cut-to-length, opened, installed, damaged, non-stock, or manufacturer-restricted products may not be returnable.
Approved returns may be subject to restocking fees, freight charges, manufacturer fees, or other costs incurred by Lord & Sons.
Custom fabricated products, modified products, engineered assemblies, kitted materials, and special order products are produced or sourced based on customer requirements. Customers are responsible for reviewing specifications, drawings, quantities, measurements, materials, finishes, and project requirements before approval.
Customers are responsible for selecting products suitable for their intended application and for complying with project specifications, codes, engineering requirements, installation instructions, safety requirements, and applicable laws. Lord & Sons may provide product information and support, but final product selection and use remain the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The Lord & Sons website is provided for product browsing, account access, order placement, contact requests, and related business purposes. Users may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit false information, or use the site for unlawful activity.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lord & Sons is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from website use, order delays, product availability, shipping delays, pricing corrections, or product use.
Lord & Sons may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to website use and online orders after the posted update.
